Theophane and the Gaps in the Strang Family : History

Theophane's family is from St. Petersburg, Russia. He was born in St. Germain de Calberte and that may be reason for his name sounding French. It was an amazing trek and I am researching the history more; his grandfather and father ecsaping from Russia's revolutions to France's occupation.
